Shanda and Kendall's Lake Minnewanka engagement session was one of the best mornings I've ever spent in the mountains. It was a brisk December morning with the sun beating down on us and there wasn't another soul in sight at one of the most popular tourist attractions near Banff. Somehow, we lucked out with the entire lake to ourselves and we definitely made some magic happen! Whenever my couples are getting married in the city, (which these two are at Spruce Meadows this coming summer) I always suggest doing their engagement session in the mountains because it allows for a neat contrast between the two moments in your life! Lake Minnewanka is definitely a winner for engagement session spots. There's just something so beautiful and majestic about the juxtaposition of two souls amongst the Rocky Mountains.
