What a day this was! Lindsay and Dave's foothills elopement at Leighton Art Centre will go down as one of our favourite wedding days ever. It was completely untraditional, and we loved every bit of it. Along with many other couples in 2020, Lindsay and Dave were faced with covid-19 restrictions putting a hold on their wedding plans. They decided that they didn't want to nix a party with their friends altogether, so they postponed the party to 2021 and eloped on a beautiful summer evening. On that Thursday evening in August, we met Lindsay and Dave at the most beautiful lookout next to the Leighton Art Centre in Dave’s hometown. Typically, we're suckers for the mountains, but this view really showed us how beautiful the Alberta Foothills are. With nothing but chirping birds and the blowing of the wind as their soundtrack, they exchanged the most touching vows. After officially becoming husband and wife, they danced the night away under the most beautiful and lasting sunset we’ve seen in a long time. It was a magical day that we feel so lucky to have witnessed. We can't wait to celebrate all over again this year!
